Mary
The excelfile containes rows with results for a sportstest of 20 students.
Name ;result test1 ;result test2; result test 3; ...;
Those data are merged to the booklet that counts 12 pages.
When i merge the data it reads data for every student and places it
correctly in the booklet.
The problem is that i end up with one booklet of 20 * 12 = 240 pages while i
want 20 12-paged booklets, each containing info of one student.
Is this possible?

Maybe this explains some more:
I want my copier to staple every booklet.
Now publisher creates one file containing the pages for 20 booklets and my
printer tries to staple this.
Hopefully this is a bit clear ...

Can you not simply create one booklet at a time? What version Publisher? Have
you looked into step 5 or step 3 in the merge wizard where you can create new
publications?
Have you read Ed's article?
