Is there any way i can add/change/modify the default wordart gallery. I
want to take a "style" of wordart that i've created and make it a
default selection in the gallery. Thanks for any help.

No you cannot. The only workaround that I know if is to create your WordArt
object, then add it to the DesignGallery. Once it's in the design gallery,
you need to then save that publication as your blank template. A horrible
workaround, but currently the only option with Publisher.
