Is there any way to have a macro select for instance from point (0",0")
on your page to point (8.5",11")? I need to select only the left half
of an 11"x17" project. Thanks for any help.

I guess you'd have to check the left and width properties of every object on
the page and decide which ones to select.
Not an easy task, unfortunately.
