Hello.  I had posted the following on Publisher General Questions and a MVP
suggested I create a macro - something I know nothing about.  Can anyone of
you help?  I appreciate your time!

=================================
The Pixie utility is a super little color picker.

As for a macro, I simply don't know. We have a resident Publisher
programmer, maybe
he will see your post and help you out.

There is a web site I can recommend that has the color charts, using Pixie
the colors
match.

I'm trying to see what the colors that I use in Publisher will look like
printed out on my printer...I have been told (and have been able to do) print
the color palette by going to format, color scheme, and so forth.  Do you
know of any other way to print out colors?

You don't need a macro to do that.

In Pub 2003:
Open your Task Pane, select Color Schemes. At the bottom, select Custom
Color Scheme. In the Color Schemes dialog box, select the Standard tab. At
the bottom of the box, click on Print Color Sampler.

No automatic way without using a macro (I assume that the method JoAnn
quoted is the same one as that you were talking about?)

I cannot see how to do a reply by email through webnews (wonderful advances
in technology) - can you shoot me a private email to the_nerd AT mvps DOT
org please?

I don't mind sending you a private email, but I am a little curious as to
your reasoning why...

Ok, Mr. Ed's defense team, I don't think he's a cyber-weirdo either, but it
does just make one wonder why the question can't be answered in the forum
given.  Though, hey, free answers to life's most complicating questions,
sounds worth it to me.

Mr Ed? No - that was a talking horse that existed before Ed was even a
twinkle in his daddy's eyes.  :-)

A horse is a horse, of course, of course......................
