Previously I had pub 2000, but it got to the point that more and more
attachments in my Publisher 2000 wouldn't open a different version.  I
purchased Pub 2003 and I still cannot open any Publisher attachments in my
Microsoft Outlook.  What do I need to do?

What seems to be the problem?

I can not open any publisher attachments sent to me thru my e-mail.  Message
states "Publisher can not open from a different version"

Are you using Norton Anti-virus?

No. I don't have Norton.  I have Command Antivirus.

Did you install Publisher 2003 and keep Publisher 2000 as well?

Yes.  I still have both versions.  I want to transfer all my documents from
2000 to 2003 before I uninstall pub. 2000, but until everything is working I
don't want to loose my 2000 documents.

Disable your anti-virus software and try again. It isn't only Norton that blocks.

In Publisher 2003 go to Help > Detect and Repair. This will make Publisher
2003 the default app for opening pub files. See if that fixes the problem.
