i have windows XP media centre 2005 and have tried to use publisher 2000 on
it.  it loads normally and all functions work but the screen and drop down
menus are green!  it is not a background or font colour, it is as if i am
looking at the window through a green film.  this does not affect any other
office applications.
i have tried using "detect and repair" but no error was found and this has
not fixed the problem.  can anyone help?

I'd suggest updating your video drivers.
