I'm using the gift certificate format to create tickets for a benefit.  There
is a gift certificate number field, but it does not appear to be tied to
anything.  I would just like to generate numbers 00001 thru 00150 in that
field.  It would even be okay to import or merge them from some other list
file that I can create in Word or Excel.

Otherwise, I'll have to get a number stamp and stamp them all.  Any wizards
out there that can help me?  My little "MS Help Dog" is good at wagging it's
tail, but hasn't been very helpful.

Create your number list in Excel or Access and merge from it to Publisher.
This tutorial is for 2002-03 but it works about the same for 2000.
