I cannot use the downloaded template from the avery site.  For some reason it
says my text is out of printing peramiters.  any advice?  I did not find  one
on the msn office website that was compatible.  I would like to make my own
but I'm not sure how

Publisher doesn't have this label. According to the page setup in Word the labels are
on 4" x 6" stock. If this the case you will have to setup the page in Publisher this
way:
Setup your printer to 4 x 6
The page on the screen will be 4 x 6
On the arrange menu, set all margins to .5
On the grid guides tab, select 5 rows with no spacing.

If you are using Publisher 2000, print setup 4 x 6
Arrange, .5 margins all around---5 rows.
