I would like to make a book marker, but I'm not sure if I can use Publisher

Step 1: In future, post to the general microsoft.public.publisher newsgroup.
This .programming newsgroup is for programmers looking to write computer
programs using Publisher and VBA

Step 2: You can use Publisher to make virtually any print publication you
can think of.  Bookmarks are a piece of cake.

Step 3: Set your page size to the size you want your bookmark to be.

Step 4: Let your imagination run wild.

Step 5: Read the Publisher 97 companion, if you can get hold of it.  It's a
good book and illustrates lots of elementary design principles that will
help you to make your bookmark look more professional and less tacky.
