I am trying to use MS Publisher to do some billing statements for my small
home business...and I have chosen one of the premade forms as my base.
However, when I print out the statement to mail it to my client, there is no
statement # or billing date!  I have tried to manually insert it, but the
form won't let me.  HELP!  I need to get this billing done so I can get my
money!

What do you mean, the form won't let you?
In the form, when you place your cursor all the default text will highlight, delete
this text, replace with your own.
On the toolbar, insert, date... type in a statement number. Or delete the text box
altogether and use one of your own.

Setup a merge for the order numbers and other information you want in your statement.
