There should be a Microsoft Home Publisher 2002.

I am a teacher and use Microsoft Home Publishing extensively.  I just
purchased a new computer with Word 2002, and I would like to have a newer
version of Microsoft Home Publishing.  Is there one available that I can
purchase?

Fran,

Home Publishing is different from Publisher. Home Publishing has become
Microsoft Digital Image. There's a Standard Edition, which retails for about
$35 (US), and a Suite, which retails for about $100 (US). Plus there's a
rebate for US/PR residents.

(BTW - wrong newsgroup. This is supposed to be for questions about
programming within Publisher.)

Thanks Joanne.  I looked at Microsoft Digital Image and it seems to be just
for photos.  I need a program where I can make banners, print the stationery,
and make cards.  The Microsoft Digiatl Image seems to be just for working
with photos.  I still don't see a product like the one I have with Microsoft
Home Publishing 2000.  Am I missing something, or maybe there isn't a
comparable product?

Fran <Fran@discussions.microsoft.com> was very recently heard to utter:

Microsoft Publisher can do all that, although it isn't quite as
wizard-driven as Home Publishing.

The last release was Publisher 2003.  The next release will be Publisher
2007.

I have Digital Image Suite 9 and it says it will do: albums, animations,
awards, business/address cards, calendars, cards, flyers/brochures,
frames/mats, labels/stickers, matching sets, photo crafts, postcards, online
gift designs. It doesn't mention banners but I'm sure it can do that.
