I am wondering, in laymens terms if possible (im new!), how to let users
create accounts on my Publisher webpage. I want people to be able to sign up
to see documents of theirs, therefor they would need usernames and passwords.
Is this possible with publisher?

No, it's completely impossible in Publisher and is not recommended to be
done without either a package such as Windows SharePoint Services or
someone with considerable programming expertise.

In addition, the correct newsgroup for Publisher webdesign queries is
microsoft.public.publisher.webdesign.
