Publisher document doesn't print correct - 19 Oct 2006 01:40 GMT
I'm having problems with a document I want to use as the newsletter
template. The source of the problem seems to be either in the "Page Set-up"
or the printer I'm using, which is a Canon iR C3200 PCL5c. For some strange
reason, the Canon printer doesn't want to seem to correctly print my
Publisher document. Also, when I go to print the document, the horizontal or
"landscape" setting changes to a vertical or "portrait" setting, for some
unknown reason. To print the document, I had to scan a six-page Publisher
document into the Canon printer. However, I lost a generation of resolution
as a direct result of scanning it in, which made the printing look rather
shoddy, I must say.
The other possibility of the problem is that I have SP-2, when I should
have SP-3 for Windows XP Professional. I've often suspected a software
incompatibility. That could be the other possiblilty. Thanks to anyone who
can assist in this matter.
