Are you guys planning to allow in MS Publisher (next version) the option of
do transparency for Pictures and Wordart.

The thruth is that the only reason anyone will use Quark or Frontpage versus
MS Publisher is the availability to create a nicer striking effect, like
Tranparency, in their work. I would love to create a WordArt that will blend
with the background picture, or a picture that will be faded against the
Background picture. The washout effect is pretty much useless. I would love
to know if you guys are in the proccess of making these changes possibles.

Thank You

You are confusing a modestly priced DTP application with a pricey QuarkXPress
($600+). FrontPage is gone... You can do transparency with Publisher. I do it
all the time. I can make WordArt do about anything. There are some issues with
gradients.

Thanks
