I am constructing a document that I would like to print many copies of and
need each copy to have a separate, unique serial number.  Any ideas?
Thanks!

Mail merge. Create a data base with your numbers. An example here:

Better help here
Add tracking numbers to gift certificates or coupons

AS usual MS Publisher leads the way in incompatance in its help/instructonal
and menues, creating more work and caos then when we first began to enquire.
never the less.

I just came from this page and it requested the MS publisher to goto the
excell program and complete series of steps, however upon selecting  the
first 2 numbers
you want to begin with,it tells you to pull that selection down into the
blank cells (boxes) to have more sequncialed numbers created......however IT
DOES not HAPPEN
so again (as usual) i am left to figure out on my own, THEIR problem..
