containing 3 identical images and would like my stationary to look like the
background on my web site:  www.vettenut.com

You will have to do it manually.

I have no idea how to do this.  Maybe I'll have to visit a book store for a
book on MS Publisher 2007.

You can create stationery from Publisher. Save your publication as a web page
and there you are.

In Outlook, Options, select HTML, Options again, Page color, fill effects,
picture tab, browse to your file.

I'm with you as far as HTML.  I don't see the Page Color, fill efects,
picture tab or browse in "Tools, Options" as included in Outlook 2007.

It is the same Option tab you used for the HTML selection. Be certain your
cursor is in the message pane, the Page color will become active, it is a
bucket.

What is your eMail addres.  I can send you a note with the background and
then if it looks good to you, you may possibly tell me how to save if for all
new eMail that I send.  Many thanks!

I sent a test message to myself and when I got it there was the following note:

Outlook blocked access to the following potentially unsafe attachments:
image001.jpg (which I believe was the HTML background that I used as "Fill").

Look at your preferences, you may have HTML messages blocked, I know I do. Take
a look at your trust center settings, Tools, trust center.

There should be an address bar at the top of your email that says "this message
has been converted to plain text"

Yes, it does say converted to plain text.  I reviewed trust settings and all
appear to OK

Topcat, What more do you need? If you expand the address bar it will allow you
to look at the email in HTML.
