Hello All!

I now bring my newsletter, after creating it in Pub 2007, to the press
as a .pdf file.  I have been using a freeware called PrimoPDF to do it.
Have decided to purchase PDFCreate!4. When I print, the message comes
up, "Waiting for printer to respond: ScanSoft PDF Create!"  Any
suggestions? (I cant call them until Wednesday, due to their hours and
mine).

Before using PrimoPDF, I had tried another freeware (don't remember
which one) that had the same problem. Didn't think too much of it, since
it was freeware. But now the same problem exits with a good program.

For what it is worth, I have no trouble printing Pub 2003 or Pub 2000
articles with any PDF program.  There is a difference.

Please cc your reply to carmaiv@gate.net if you would. Thank you very much!

There is a PDF add-in for Microsoft Office, might try it:

Thank you very much, Mary. I downloaded the add-on but it doesn't make a
difference. As I said before, Pub 2003 has no problem.

I still cannot create .pdf file from print..."ScanSoft PDF Create".  But
I can save as pdf or publish as pdf directly in Pub 2007.  It seems to
be working fine. The only draw back is that if I only want to pdf one of
the 40 pages, that is not an option. The entire file must be become a pdf.

Thanks!

Open a new instance of Publisher, copy all on the page you want to PDF; paste to
the new publication.

I have since talked with tech support for Scan Soft and they told me
that they are still working on creating a fixture for this problem, but
as of right now, the two to not work together.  Wish I knew that before
I purchased PDFCreate!4.
