Viewing Publisher 2002 Html source code.

Hello,
I have two separate computers, both with Publisher 2002, and I create a webpage exactly the same way by File > New > Page Setup > Layout tab > Webpage, but when I go to WebPage Preview and right click to view source code on the webpage the two computers produces two completely different html source code.  Computer A outputs clean html code.  Computer B outputs html source code that goes for a mile long.  The pages being built are exactly the same just a text box with hello text inside.

Is there a setting that is different on the two publisher programs? I have pasted the two different html source codes below.  Thank you greatly if anyone has a solution to this.  Willett

First, there is no such thing as clean source code generated by Publisher.  At
its best, it produces oddball code.  Kinda looks like the bloat patch has been
applied to one of those 2002 installs, and not the other.  The real expert
(David) in here will be able to tell you for sure.

Are both systems running Publisher 2002 with all of the UPDATED service
packs? Publisher 2002's html code was "cleaned up" with a service pack. So
if you are not seeing the same html for the exact same publication, you need
to update the system that has the "less than clean" html. Visit
http://office.microsoft.com and Check for Updates and download/install all
patches.

Brian's post would be correct.
Service Pack 1 modified the coding engine.
Compare the Publisher version numbers on each machine.
In your case you'd note two different versions.
You want to be using Publisher 2002 SP 3

Webpage, but when I go to WebPage Preview and right click to view source
code on the webpage the two computers produces two completely different html
source code.  Computer A outputs clean html code.  Computer B outputs html
source code that goes for a mile long.  The pages being built are exactly
the same just a text box with hello text inside.
