I got an answer from David Bartosik (thanks), but I think that the way to do
it only applies to Publisher 2003.
Can I publish in http protocol with Publisher 2000?

I really need to find out the answer.  I have been working on it for a long
time (months!!) and nobody can tell me what to do!!

I have my website working fine except for the forms...which is really
important for my project.
I have been looking for answers about the problem that I have, because when
the submit button is clicked I get this --WEBBOT-SELF-- message.
The answer that I found was to publish it in http protocol, so I check the
submit button properties and I just don't see the way to do it.
Has some one resolved that problem?  I really need someone to help me with
this!

Thanks!

Publishing procedures are the same across the 2000, 2002, 2003.
Only some menu wording and dialog boxes may differ slightly.
But... Network Places is only supported in newer Windows versions.

Thank you for your help!!
I found out those differences and now the forms are working!!
If you want to check my site:  www.lgi-furniture.com  I will be happy to
have your opinion about it.
I learned a lot from your site (which has changed now!!).  Thank you because
you are in a way my Publisher teacher.  I even wrote you an e-mail asking you
a question and you answered me when I was developing my site.
I really appreciate all your help!  Thank you again!

LoreD.

Using 2002, I am following procedures for 2003. the only place i get hung up
is when it tells me to "go to file menue and click on "publish to the
web..."" . 2002 does not have this option...do I "save as web page", "export
web page"? I do not know where to find a "publish to the web option".

Despite my complaints to the product group on this very matter they have
consistently re-worded the language used on the File menu across versions.
But despite the actual wording it is the same function of generating your
web site out of the .pub file.
