i create a web page with publisher and i get a xml document and won't show Some hosting providers will have permission settings on their servers that "hide" the file type of .xml That is not a problem, Publisher still reads and writes it. Your viewing it on the server is not required. It is not to be modified by you. Please improve your postings so I can better assist you. Now that you posted a URL I can see you are using version 2002 (a fact you left out of the posts). Version 2002 does not default to "index.htm", you have to save it as that name. Additionally the 2002 version was originally released with a new html code technology that is poorly supported, which was modified in Service Pack releases. You are strongly urged to visit the Office Update site and download and install Service Pack 3 to update your Pub 2002.
