I have published my site to the web using publisher 2003.

It looks fine when I view it.  I've tried about 5 different computers and
everything displays properly.
But I have a friend who never seems to get all the graphics displayed.
She's using AOL but has tried both the AOL browser as well as Internet
Explorer.

Some of the graphics will appear but the rest just give her an empty box
with a red X in the corner (i.e. it didn't download the images).
I've looked at the images she can't display and cannot find a pattern.  Some
jpg's display, some don't.

I thought it might be some setting on her computer preventing images from
displaying but she is getting some of them.
I'm certain that all the files have been uploaded to the server because I
can view the site on computers other than the one that created it.

I re-published the site using the "compress pictures" option but it had no
effect.  The same pictures would not display.

Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

Have you disabled the options for using VML and PNG in the web options?
I've seen a few posts before about AOL possibly having this display issue.
I'm assuming it's due to the VML in a Pub 2003 page.

I have a client with the problem as well. Where should VML (Vector
Markup Language) and PNG (Portable Network Graphics) be disabled?

My client is on AOL .

Unfortunately, I already had them off.  :(
On the web tab the only items I have checked are:

Organize supporting files in a folder
Enable incremental publish to the web.

All others are not checked.

Can you think of anything else?

Thanks

I am having this problem as well.  I created my web page in Publisher (2003)
with embedded pictures.  The pictures display fine in preview, but once
uploaded and online, only the text is visible.  Tech support at my hosting
compnay can see the pictures online using Firefox, but not IE.  Chaning the
VML or PNG settings did not help.
I would appreciate any assisitance I can get

Not sure which problem you are having, but am betting that your images are
too large. Reference: Compress graphics file sizes to create smaller
Publisher Web pages:

If that isn't the issue, please post the website URL.
