hover buttons

If you use JavaScript hover or roll-over buttons, is it true that search
engine spiders can't follow their links to index a site? Using Publisher
2000.

Have you checked your server logs for robot activity?

Thanks David. I had read an unsubstantiated assertion about this, and
figured you would know. Its not that big of deal to me as I don't rely on
the search engines finding or listing my site anyway, but I was curious.
I'll check the server logs.
