Dear David, I have recently received a lot of newsletters in colour and with
pictures. I assume they are written in HTML. I am in the country and have a
dial up modem. All of these newsletters are 15 to 20KB in size. When I use
Publisher 2003 the size of the most basic newsletter is 150 plus KB. By
basic I mean unaltered newsletters generated by Publisher 2003 with clip art
etc. I would dearly like to design my own newsletter with jpegs etc but the
size becomes horrible, MB size!!

Do you have any suggestions?

Yours faithfully
Max Patmoy

Could anyone please give me advice on this matter?

Instead of sending the newsletter that way, have you considered a .pdf file
instead?

Dear Joanne,

Yes I have considered sending a pdf file but it would be an attachment and
not have the same impact when a recipient opened it. Any other ideas?

That is the way Pub 2003 is designed. The only suggestion available is to not
use it. Version 2000 would be better.
