Since I lost my hard drive over a month ago & reloaded all my software,
Publisher has not been working exactly the same. Last month I saved my file
to the web siet OK. However, this month I get an error message "The files
necessary to support the target language you have selected cannot be found on
your computer." I have no idea what this is referring to and it does not give
me any options for fixing it. The process I have been using is to File-Create
website then in the new .html file I File-Save as Web Page and save the file
to my website folder.

I tried your suggestion from the FAQs of changing the language to Unicode
UTF-8. That removed the error message but the file did not load correctly
since I got a mish-mash. Since this is a calendar I do every month I need
this to work. November loaded correctly and still loads correctly. December
will not load correctly. Any other suggestions? BTW I'm using Pub 2000 SP3 &
Dreamweaver.

what's the url? I'd have to review the page and see what a mish mash is.

It doesn't look as bad on the web as I thought it would from the looks of
the file in Dreamweaver. However, the meetings listed in the far left column
continue below the calendar area which they do not in my original file. And
it is not logical for one file in Publisher to convert correctly when the
next file will not - especially since I just copy from file to file to create
this calendar each month ("save as").

Why is Dreamweaver involved? Pub's code doesn't play well with actual html
editors and thus I urge against mixing.

btw I recommend you remove the space in "current month" and follow other
naming guidelines as covered in
http://www.davidbartosik.com/2004/11/web-site-advice.htm

by "original file" I assume you mean the pub file? It is common for the html
output to differ from the publication due to many factors in rendering html.
In reviewing this web page it looks normal to me. The calendar is converted
to an image and the left column is text. The amount of text to render is
more then the height of the picture. If that's an issue then you can remove
some paragraph breaks from the text or resize the text boxes or add some
paragraph breaks to the calendar cells. Or put some breaks above the
calendar to lower it.
