I am trying to publish my site, after an update, to the web and I get the
following error:

"Publisher could not save the file to the Web.
Check your URL or network connection and try again."

Nothing has changed since the last time I published to the web. My
connection is fine, and the site works.

reboot the pc and then try again.
if that doesn't help then try deleting the network place or ftp place you
created and then restart pub and rebuild the connection and try again.
and please indicate the version used and if you are prompted for the login
info or when this error occurs.

I tried your suggestions and it did not work, I still receive the same error.
I'm using Pub 2003. Any other ideas?

I forgot to mention, the last time I was able to publish I had a cable
broadband connection, now I have a DSL connection. Would this make a
difference?

You probably have a much slower upload speed now but I doubt there's
anything related to your issue.
