Hi
I finished designeing my web site and have been attempting
to publish.  I have publisher 98 my domain name is
www.massageandspatreatments.com.  I had downloaded to the
public files and I thought that all my pages said
index.html under web properties.  Is there anything else I
could be missing to check.  Please do not referme to your
tutorials because my unzip file is not working and I am
unable to unzip those files.

Thankyou Sheri

After creating your web site with Publisher, you need to do a save as a web
site.  Then, upload all you pages (html files) and gif files to the IP.
Then you should be able to visit you site like any other web site.

Here is the location of a free ZIP program.

Don
I did that weeks ago when I  made my web site.  Can you go
to http://www.massagandspatreatments.com and see what all
that computer garbage is. I made it in publisher 98.  I
downloaded first from the hosting packageing and then from
publisher and it still seems to come uo like this.  Any
solutions would be great.

On my FAQ page I cover reasons that can cause this.

Sheri, First of all you don't have to download the tutorial to learn from
David Bartosik's site. Invest some time reading at least the FAQ page.

I visited your site, and I am not sure what you mean by computer mumbo
jumbo. The site does load eventually, but you have your text boxes
overlapping other images or objects on at least the three pages I looked at.
This results in the text boxes and objects being converted to a low
resolution gif (image). You might try going back and moving things around
until you don't have these overlapping problems, and you would probably be
happier with your results. I don't know if Publisher 98 has the "snap to"
option, but if it does, use that to help from overlapping objects. Good
luck. DavidF

Only the home page is index.

No zip program is required for the tutorial packages, they unzip themselves.
(that is what is called self-extracting).
