Could you just point me to a site that has a presentation that runs so I can
see how it works? I don't even know what file to point to to start the show.

The files on my local drive are in the path/folder:

C:\Documents and Settings\Arnold\My Documents\ESGShow1_files

I uploaded them to my website to:

/httpdocs/ESGSHOW/

Thanks.

Tech27,

I was puzzling over your goals of publishing some sort of slide show to your
Publisher site. I happened to come across what might be just what you need.
Check out Jalbum, a free web photo album application: http://jalbum.net/

And be sure to check out the sample albums page:
http://jalbum.net/samples.jsp

There seems to be a lot of skins that might work well for you.

This might not solve your syntax questions, but I thought you might find it
useful.

I'm assuming this is a PowerPoint file you're talking about? In PowerPoint
you save the presentation as a web. That'll create a web folder and files
just like Publisher does. You then publish that web to the server. You then
would have your Publisher web page hyperlink to the home page of the
PowerPoint web. Once you open the PowerPoint web home page you run the
presentation web from that.

I do not understand how to upload a web page created with publisher and also
have a web page created by powerpoint at the same "server" location?  We
could cheerfully make our web page with links to the power point show rather
than having all the photos on the publisher page like I do
(see http://myweb.cableone.net/merritthome1/index_files/Page804.htm) but I
don't know how to do it so that both "index" pages can be on one server.

The slide show you don't name as index. You can name that whatever you want.
