Pub version?
Upload client?
Upload protocol used?
Error message is?
Is this home or work use?
Are you prompted for the server login?

thank you for getting back.
.
--Publisher 2003
--home use
--trying to upload to EZPublishing
--when we go to File/Publish to the Web (in publisher), we either get:
a. unable to find site
b. can't make connection due to firewall

when we undo firewalls on our pc, there's no difference.

we tried uploading via FTP, but that's too complicated.

we'd rather not buy Frontpage, but don't seem to have any options...

thanks for any info/suggestions.

there are ftp and http directions at
http://www.publishermvps.com/Default.aspx?tabid=33

if your destination server has FrontPage extensions installed (this has
nothing to do with you owning FP!) on the server then I recommend you use
the http method.

For either method have you verified that you are using the correct URL for
the server and protocol?

What firewall is being used? Do you have a router?
Did you try to publish after turning the firewall off and then restarting
the pc with it off?
