Hi everyone, and thank you if you can help. I use 2003 and find it great,
just one thing I am having a problem with. I recently learned how to redirect
a link to open in a new window, using the code from the forum supplied by
David Bartosik, thank you David. I needed to use the code with a picture
banner for a 3rd party advert on the website, I took the code and where you
insert the text to show where to click to be directed to the link, I inserted
HTML coding for a autoshape filled with a 100% transparent colour, so it
appears above the banner, and when clicked on anywhere over the banner it
does work to redirect as required. Just one problem though, when the mouse
pointer goes over the banner, it does not change to a hand symbol as usual,
can someone pease help a newbie designer fix this problem. Thank toy again.

ah, border art on the text box, that's a known bug. Drop the border
decoration on the text box and it should change. Optionally you could just
create a graphic image first in a graphic editor and then use that graphic
(like with the russia ad) instead of layering a graphic design with text box
like you did.

David

The Russia ad link just goes to a email address so it's no problem. I tried
taking off the border but no help. Can I add a html code to change the mouse
symbol when it run over the box area?

Also on another subject. I want to add a powerpoint slideshow into the site,
I have read your comments on the other questions and on the questions page,
but I am still unsure as to what to do. Could you please go into this in more
step by step details about how to save the file on the web, and where to
write the link to make it the slideshow work on the frontpage of the site?

Thank you

Michael
