Publisher cannot find or copy

When I'm publishing my web site to HTML (save as web page), I'm getting error
messages for most of the hyperlinks that lead to files on my computer. The
messages say that Publisher cannot find or copy the files that are linked.
I've double-checked and the linked files are indeed in the specified
location. I've even tried removing and relinking but to no avail. What's the
deal?

Unless your web site is going to be residing on your pc, you don't link to
files that are local to your pc. External files (files outside the Publisher
web) need to be uploaded to the web site host location and linked
accordingly. See the FAQ -
