I have done a website using publisher.I have done a submit for addition in
search engines. Bpath who are the people who submit and optimise the page say
that my htlm is too big 500kb when my home page should only be 50kb
how do i fix this

As a typical newbie you failed to state what version of Publisher you are
working in.

If by chance it is version 2002 then you need to update it to Office XP
"Service Pack 3".

After the update use File, Export as web, and replace the files.
