Awhile ago, 6 - 7 days ago I called for help on the disappointing display of
text on my website (Publisher 2000) and received several replies of help.
After looking, replacing and adjusting without satisfaction I rebuilt the
site by creating seven new pages with headers, background color, and page
links.
Then did a copy page of all the contents which required some realignment of
text and image boxes. All is now looking good to these ol eyes. Never did ID
the offending culprit. (I recently went to Windows XP - maybe this did it?)
Here's an extra found by chance:
When I went to the site all looked 99% good and with a few readjustments got
to where I wanted it.
EXCEPT! Page 7 was almost centered on my 19" monitor!??
REASON FOUND: During the Copy Paste procedure there was a html code
fragment (Back to Top) that didn't get all the way back on the page. It is
about a ¼"x1¼" rectangle and only about ¼" was on the page at the left edge,
leaving 1" out in space. I suspect any "box" would do the same. Make it
invisible and a part of the design for those who must have the page centered
on their own monitor?
Thanks again to David, JoAnn, Ed, Sarah, who (or is it whom) am I
forgetting?? I owe you a beverage.
Bevande per tutti!

judging from the subject line I assume you decided against having little
vanusa.org's running around.

One is enough!
But, besides doing vanusa.org I maintain 5 Sons of Italy Lodge's webpages
off our Grand Lodge's website www.osiaglnw.org
The fun never stops.
