I appreciate your help David. I am a newbie when it comes to creating web
pages and I truly don't understand much of it. You mentioned my problem is
caused by using a Master Page. When I click on master page, a blank page
comes up. I am obviously missing something and am trying hard to understand
everything. I do apologize for the stupidity, but I am taking 4 classes and
one of them is a web authoring class and I have to get my site up by next
Monday. Everything is working, including the graphics. It's just these links
that are driving me nuts.
Thanks again for your help.

I said "typically". I don't have your file nor your site URL to afford a
100% conclusion. There are various factors and various causes. Most of
which are on the FAQ which hopefully you took the initiative to work thru.
Publisher is for "newbies" and isn't rocket science. Some gotcha's exist
though, such as framed pages and external file links. Which is where the
www.publishermvps.com site and FAQ come in to assist. If you aren't having
any luck or just can't see the forest for the trees then post the site URL
for a review.

I finally figured the problem out. one last question; can I edit the code
right in Publisher or do I need to do it after I upload it into the FTP?
Also, on my return to home links on my other pages, does this look right:
href="index.html">Home
Thanks again for all your help.

I sense you are making it more complicated then it is.
