When I tryto preview my Web site that I am building in Publisher 2003 by
clicking the Web Page Preview tab on the File menu, I first  get a message
saying "Working --preparing Web page preview" but seconds later I get the
following Microsoft Publsiher  message..."Unable to open C:\Documents and
settings\owner\local settings\temporary Internet
files\content.MSO\pubwebpagepreview\pub3468.8\index_files\page653.htm. cannot
open specified file." Can anybody tell me what the error message is telling
me and how I can fix the problem

Haven't seen this issue. Well the message is telling you exactly what it
says, the temporary web page can't be opened. As for why, well I don't know,
but I can think of a couple of things you could look at. Though I'd be
interested in knowing if this is only with one page of the publication or
all pages, plus any other "details" you can provide.

Make sure you have a default browser set, if using WindowsXP SP2 this is
easy, look for the program defaults link under the start menu. Also empty
the temp internet files "cache", under Tools, Advanced menu in IE. And if
using Windows XP are you an admin user or another type of user, in other
words do you know your user privileges?
