I have created a website with Publisher which works fine in IE but does not
work with Mozzilla Firefox is there a fix for this problem?

No. You can turn off VML and PNG options (assuming version 2003 here) and
see if that helps FireFox out any.
The simple fact is that Publisher 2003 is designed to work with IE, and to
exploit the IE technologies.
Designing web sites that work in all browsers has been trouble-some since
the dawn of web design. Most larger firms with the staff to do so, will
create a separate version of the site catered to each browser.
If you decide to take cross browser support seriously you will need to begin
by selecting a web design tool for site production and then start to learn
basics of html and css. Then join html coding communities and web developer
forums and educate yourself on what works and doesn't work in the various
browsers.
