Hi All,

Even how do I change encoding of "Save this publication as", the generated
htm files always use charset=windows-1252. So we can only manually edit htm
files to change charset ? I use Publisher 2003.

any more ideas

Thanks

There's a second option there, to use default encoding. Do you have that on
or off?

Are you publishing with File, Publish...
or with File, Save as, file type...   ??

I myself just opened up a 2003 web pub and set the encoding to Chinese Trad.
and had the default option off and the output shows:

<meta http-equiv=Content-Type content="text/html; charset=big5">
