printing in Publisher changes the look of brochure

when i print my brochure in Publisher 2000 on plain paper it's fine. But
when i print it on matte paper it changes slightly. i am trying to print it
clearly so it comes out good at the printers.

Why don't you print the brochure to a PDF and let the printer sort it out.
