Every time I try to change the properties of an autoshape a message comes up saying this is not a valid measurement. What are the measurements? Do you get the same pop-up when you manually resize the object? Choose Websites & email then 3 page website. Select one of the templates. When you try to select a shape to change its colour it's then you get the 'not a valid measurement' error. Are you right clicking the existing shape, selecting format object, then going to the colors and lines tab, selecting Fill, Color, and selecting a new color and clicking ok? BTW - what I just wrote is what I mean by "detailed steps". If that is what you are doing, all I can say is that I cannot repro your issue.
