What can I do to get my Publisher generated website to be viewable using
Mozilla and Netscape browsers?
JoAnn Paules [MSFT MVP] - 30 Aug 2005 01:09 GMT
If you check the archives you will see that Publisher-based websites do not
always look right in other browsers. If multi-browser capability is
important to you, and it should be, than perhaps you need to consider using
a program that is designed for creating websites, not printed material.

I know this isn't the answer you were hoping for but it's best to hear the
truth. Sorry.

I was afraid of this.  I created sites in the past with Publisher and had
the same problem.  I really love the program, is there anything else out
there that is this simple to use for web design.  I have looked into
Frontpage and it looks like a disaster.  Do you have any recommendations?

Dunno why you'd think FP is a disaster, it's certainly better than Publisher
for web design.

Frontpage is now discontinued you can download and try Expression Web which
is FP's replacement.
Of course there's always Dreamweaver.
Both of the above will require you learn something about web design,,,html,
css.

Or take a look at Serif's web designer...haven't used it yet so dunno much
about the code it produces.

JoAnn actually knows little to nothing about building webs with Publisher
and is repeating misinformation. Almost all the cross-browser compatibility
issues have been worked out. See you other message for more details.
