some settings, Publisher 2003, publish to web, not organizing files in a
separate folder.

first of all, I am using domain forwarding with masking my domain name is
allencanfield.com which stays put in the address bar. I upload my files to my
ISP, all works well, I click on one of the navbar locations, the highlighted
link appears in the status bar (bottom of IE). when I click it, no page
returns, I assume some part of the automation process is confused because it
cannot resolve the link. Reviewing my links, some are on the nav bar, some
are images, some are plain text, the plain text links resolve the entire
domain (ISP) name and I get to the page. How is publisher scripting the URL
for the plain text differently than the nav bar or the image? To keep the
tesing functionality *(web page preview)* how can I resolve the links and get
them properly scripted?

There is no problem when I "unmask" my domain. But then my .com name
disappears from the address block, which I would like to keep there.

That is framing a site and it can break links, I have that on the FAQ -
http://www.publishermvps.com/Default.aspx?tabid=30 . Publisher usually
writes a relative link which is going to work in that case. If you hyperlink
manually - hyperlink dialog box, select web address, and type in the
complete URL - then you force Publisher to write an absolute link. Absolute
links are what you need to use if you want to use framing.
