When I try to create a new navigation bar, the text or title of the "original" first button appears, but none of the others do. The page does have a customized text and color scheme, but I'm using one of the "pointer" buttons with no background behind the text, so that really shouldn't matter, right? I have read the troubleshooting page, but the answer doesn't seem to apply to my problem. Is the web publication a template or a blank publication? How did you insert the nav bar? Are you using a master page? How many pages are in the publication? When you insert a new page are you checking the "add to navigation" option? The nav bar was inserted using the "nav bar" button on the web tool bar. I am not using a master page. This is a single page publication. It populates itself when you add pages, and it maintains those links thru the pages of the publication. If you only have one page in the publication then you're only going to get one item on the nav bar. If you are not using the publication in that manner then the nav bar wizard would be the wrong way to go. You'd need to create your own menu. On http://www.publishermvps.com I have an article that shows how to quickly code a textual menu. But you can also do text menu's and graphical menu's on the page as an object.
