i have created a site in publisher 2003. when i 'view as a web site' the
whole page sits to the left of the screen. i want it to have an equal gap on
either side of the page. the strange thing is, the backgroung graphic goes
full width. if i change the settings to a lower resolution the left edge goes
off screen?? i have to scroll to the left to get it back.

Unfortunately, you won't have a choice. Publisher will automatically leave
this white space on the right. You may want to reconfigure your Display
settings to a lower resolution. You'll find that PC's will lower resolutions
have smaller amounts of white space when viewing your site.
Here's the link the pros here always point me to. It's the FAQ section and
it has your answer.
