I am a teacher in charge of a group of students creating a web site in
Publisher. Multiple students need access to this site, so we must create the
file in a location all students (in the school!) have access to. How can I
use a password so that only the group of students I work with are allowed to
alter the web site?

As stated on the FAQ page -
http://www.publishermvps.com/Default.aspx?tabid=30 - this is a server side
function. Speak with the web server provider/administrator about your
securing access options.
