how to add a slideshow to my website

Hello everyone. I am creating my first personal website in Publisher and
would like to know if the option exists to add a slideshow.  thank you in
advacne!

Whatever slide show program you use, you then save the show as a web and then
have a link on your site that links to the show.

Thank you for your response... so this will only work as a link? there is no
way to have the pictures just automatically change while viewing the website?

If you aren't referring to a presentation such as PowerPoint, then you can
look into 3rd party programs for displaying images online. There are also
javascripts, many that are free, that can manipulate images online. A couple
places that come to mind that you might check into are
http://www.wsabstract.com/ and http://www.bravenet.com/ . In any case you
will either insert a code snippet or you will link to an outside page.
Publisher itself has no native dynamic features.
