P 2002 SP3

When in Pub, I rollover the words that I have assigned an email hyperlink
and they correctly say mailto:fullcolor55@....  but when testing in IE
nothing happens.

How do I correct this?
Thanks
Milton

My job is easier if the version is stated as well as the URL of the page in
question so I can review it.

Though I don't have the luxury of seeing your question, I'm going to make an
assumption since I know you're on version 2002. Which is... that version has
a known and documented bug that if you create a textbox object, add text,
hyperlink it, and then add a border to the textbox AND/OR apply a fill to the
textbox, doing either of those breaks the hyperlink when saved to the html.

I recommend you read thru the FAQ -
http://www.publishermvps.com/WebDesign/FAQ/tabid/30/Default.aspx - so you
learn in advance some of the common mistakes and pitfalls in Publisher.

Thank you, accurately diagnosed.

Are these "pitfalls" 2002 specific or is there a 2003 pitfalls FAQ?

I'm wondering if it is time to upgrade?
Thanks

Ever buy the first year release of a new car model? Basically that's what
Pub 2002 was. It wasn't really an update to the 2000 version, it was an all
new beast. With 2003 came the fixes. And some extra functionality. The next
release, due in about a year, adds more functionality, more fixes, to the
2002 code base.
