I'm using publisher '03 and I read how to properly hyperlink pdf files. I'm
using the url given when I uploaded the files on to the server e.g.
htt://www.mywebsite.com/publications/mypub.pdf However when I try to
download the file, I either get error 404 or the page is not available.
What am I doing wrong?

I dunno know. Without posting a url for me to check you'll have to figure it
out. The place to start is hovoring over the hyperlink and looking in the
browsers status bar where it displays the URL of that hyperlink. Look at it
closely and verify that it's filename and path match what's on the server.

I visited your site but didn't see the links that should provide the PDF
files. Each link I tried displayed a list of web sites.

That 'publications' folder does not have browse permissions on it to allow
the pdf to be accessible. Speak to your host about setting permissions on
your sub-folders.
