problem using clipart in webpage - image does not display

editing a webpage in publisher / word, included clipart images, webpage
displays with "X" boxes in place of images - I uploaded the image files to
the server along with the page.  What am I doing wrong?

Did you make sure that your links are pointing to the correct place? That
red x means that something isn't where it should be.

As Joann suggested, you are probably not linking correctly to your images,
and thus they are not loading with the page. Refer to the articles on this
page about publishing your site and trouble shooting publishing issues
(assuming you are using Pub 2003):
