I have a flash program a friend created for me that I want to include in my
website but I have not been able to figure out how to put an icon on my
homepage that will link to this flash object.  Any help or suggestions would
be greatly appreciated.

Ellswogs,

Here are two articles that might help.

How to add a swf file:

Including external files in a Publisher Web:

Thanks David, those were very helpful and worked great.  I do have one more
question though: I made the link work, but how do I get the flash program to
pop up in a new window instead of in the same browser window?  Thanks again.

Your answer was just a click away from the other two pages. Spend some time
exploring all the information David Bartosik has provided at this site, and
then look at the FAQ:
http://www.publishermvps.com/WebDesign/FAQ/tabid/30/Default.aspx

Even if you don't have time to read and understand all the articles, read
the headlines...under each version, and bookmark the site. If you are like
me, you'll be back to reference it again.
