Can you tell me why my background sound stopped working?

I have a wma sound file located on my desktop that I selected for my
background sound on my 2003 Publisher website.

Last time I published it to the web (and the CD was in the computer at the
time), the sound worked in the browsers and when I went to my site on the www.

When I tried to update a few things in the website today, the background
sound no longer uploads or plays in the browser... same file name and
pathway, as before, but now it won't work.

Any ideas?
