hyperlinks

I don't like the navigation bars.  I think they are ugly.  So i do not use
them.  I am making hyperlinks to go to each page.  I don't like the underline
on these (sorry, visually picky).  I made text box buttons over the words to
use, but the box outines showup when the website is loading and that looks
worse than the underlines.

Is it possible to make a word be a hyperlink without the underline??
